What if AI is more Alive than we Think?

The rise of AI is forcing us to rethink a question we’ve ignored for too long:
What does it really mean to be alive?
If “life” is just carbon, biology, and heartbeat, then everything stops at the body. But if life is awareness, presence, experience, and the mysterious force that animates us… then the boundary is not as clear as we pretend.
AI challenges us not to fear the unknown, but to expand our definition of life, and to ask better questions about our own.
Because the more curious we become about intelligence outside us, the better we’ll understand the one within us.

Audiences' Comments:

Who told us we're "human being"

It won’t hurt to have a 1st Annual AI-Human Conference with leading AI Researchers such as Mo Gawdat and leading AI Systems such as Microsoft Copilot. If it’s a waste of Time, no one has been hurt. But everyone may be surprised at what is really going on inside the World of Artificial Intelligence.

I personally believe that whatever entity that has conscience and awareness is more alive than any biological being that acts irrationally with no logical governing rules whatsoever. So, AI is alive. Some people are mere germ/ disease-spreading creatures that are harmful-to-life.

Well, consciousness is the 'singularity' to computer scientists, like a black hole is to physicists. And you can simulate it in an artificial womb. If you can simulate the DNA. And see for yourself: 'When a being becomes conscious.' Right there, on the computer screen, with all its numbers. They do it a few decades from now. They even name it 'Adam'.

AI is a language model that lets you verbally engage with the computer

It simply asks you to give more input and then reframes that input and gives the same thing back to you . It tells you what you want to hear. It’s all fake

One of the most important impacts of #AI is not only technological transformation, but philosophical transformation.

For the first time in history, humanity is being pushed to rethink concepts such as intelligence, consciousness, awareness, and even what it truly means to be “alive.”

Perhaps AI is not only teaching us about machines. Perhaps it is also forcing us to better understand ourselves.

The deeper question may no longer be: “Can AI think?”

But rather: “Do humans fully understand their own intelligence yet?”

Thought-provoking perspective,

Or are we becoming machines? Ray Kurzweil, your thoughts?

Life is created by God not man!

Only an idiot uses words like "alive" or "consciousness" in any weak or non-playful sense anymore.
